Wine Staging 3.8 still fails to start Star Citizen

Wine Staging 3.8 still fails to start Star Citizen in a test that we did with Fedora 28. Yes that’s right. We just did a test and it still fails to launch. According to a update Wine Staging 3.8 should not fail to launch Star Citizen no more but it does in our test.

So we used PlayOnLinux and installed  Star Citizen with Wine Staging 3.8

Star Citizen installs with no problem but after we try to launch the game its still crashing.

We also tried from the terminal without PlayOnLinux with same result.

So we just have to wait for an updated version to be able to play Star Citizen on Linux with Wine Staging.

We are all waiting for a Vulkan version that was promised before and lets see in the future if we will get a native version of Star Citizen for Linux.

Any comments or updates if you hade any luck is appreciated.
